Eastern Spans, San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge
The single tower for the new eastern span of the Bay Bridge is nearing completion. The catwalks that will aid bridge workers in placing the single support cable have been attached to the western portion.

Battery O'Rorke II
Atop Battery O'Rorke at Ft. Barry in the Marin Headlands, part of the Golden Gate Recreation Area, looking North. The stairs to the left lead to the four 3 inch gun mounts that were removed in 1946 following the forts' deactivation in 1945.

Meet Mr. Inky Dinky
Found him hanging out by the garage downspout the other morning. Looks like lunch is trapped in the background and the forecast doesn't call for rain. Today, though, Mr. Dinky had moved on....
